Today, on the day of World Reading Day, I would like to note that this year the State Chamber Orchestra «‎Moscow Virtuosi» is returning to musical and literary compositions.

On the stage of the Chamber Hall of the Moscow International House of Music the premiere of tango opera «‎Maria from Buenos Aires» was held with great success. The music of Astor Piazzolla in the instrumental version by Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Strelnikov was performed by the soloists of the orchestra and accompanied by poems by Oracio Ferrer, Jorge Luis Borges, Federico Garcia Lorca and Salvador Dali. Concert on December 4 was held with the participation of Honored Artist of Russia Eduard Chekmazov, February 6 joined the project People’s Artist of Russia Evgeny Knyazev. New dates of this program will be announced additionally.

On April 24 and 26 the premiere of musical performance for adults «‎Little Prince» will take place in Moscow planetarium. The artistic word is Honored Artist of Russia Anatoly Bely. The reruns are planned for the season 2015/2016. Keep an eye on our posters.

On April 18 on the stage of the Svetlanov Hall of the Moscow International House of Music a special program for young listeners of the orchestra will be performed as part of the «‎Moscow Virtuosi to Children» subscription – the Russian premiere of the fairy tale by P. Svetlanov. Patterson «‎Three pigs». Performed by People’s Artist of Russia Veniamin Smekhov, musicians and conductor Evgeny Bushkov, the old fairy tale will sound in a new way.
