I cordially congratulate you on the New Year, 2018 and Christmas!

In the outgoing year, Moscow celebrated its 870th anniversary and achieved good results in creation and development.

The main event of the year was the opening of a unique landscape park «‎Zaradye» with a soaring bridge – a new point of attraction for Muscovites and guests of the capital. The improvement of the Garden Ring, Boulevard Ring, Prechistenka, Sretenka and hundreds of other capital streets was successfully completed. Tverskaya Zastava Square has returned to the public space of the city. The reconstruction of the legendary «‎Luzhniki» was carried out qualitatively and on time.

Your Department has done a lot of work to develop the cultural space. The number of visitors to the parks exceeded 110 million people. Interesting events such as Night at the Museum, Night at the Theatre and Biblionight have become even more popular. Metropolitan theatres delighted spectators with new premieres and open-air performances. A unique project «‎Art for Children» has been prepared and will be launched next year.

In 2018, you and I will continue our large-scale city development programme to make Moscow even more beautiful, cosy and comfortable.
