On October 23, 2017, at the 65th year of his life, Mikhail Evstigneyev – Honoured Artist of Russia, soloist and concertmaster of the oboe group of the State Chamber Orchestra «‎Moscow Virtuosi» died unexpectedly from 1984 to 2014.
It is hard and very bitter to accept that Mikhail Borisovich passed away prematurely. We were bound by a true friendship that had been tested and proven to be glorious.
With a bright biography, Mikhail Borisovich did not suffer from «‎star illness», always with a smile, accessible and open, was ready in difficult moments to help and support his comrades with good advice, to share his rich experience with young musicians. Communication with this bright and cheerful person was a real pleasure for everyone who knew him.
