Alatova and Moscow Virtuosi will open a new hall at the House of Music in Moscow
The concert of Vladimir Spivakov, Anna Aglatova and the Moscow Virtuosi Orchestra will take place on the stage of the new hall of the Moscow International Music House (MMDM) on the day of its opening, the MMDM press service reports on 18 February.
The State Chamber Orchestra «Moscow Virtuosi» headed by Vladimir Spivakov is a resident of the MMDM, along with the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia. It is this renowned ensemble that has been entrusted with the honour of opening the new hall of the House of Music.
Together with Virtuosi and Spivakov, Anna Aglatova, the leading soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre, will perform at the first concert on the new stage. The concert programme will feature works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Joaquino Rossini, Luigi Boccherini and Gaetano Donizetti. «There are stunning technical innovations in this hall. Besides, it is very beautiful», shared his impressions Vladimir Spivakov.
The new hall, designed for 286 spectators, is equipped with the most modern simulated acoustic equipment, transformable stage space, video and audio recording systems. Many great musicians and vocalists have already been able to appreciate its merits during rehearsals, it is enough to name the names of Anna Netrebko, Hibla Gerzmava and Joshua Bell.
