Two famous violinists, Vadim Repin and Vladimir Spivakov, duoed on the same stage at the Trans-Siberian Art Festival in Novosibirsk. The musicians played instantly, as if they had been doing it for the last few decades. For the performance they chose a Bach Concerto for two violins. The soloists were accompanied by the chamber orchestra «Moscow Virtuosi».

Although tickets to the concert were bought back in January, additional seats for gifted children were found. The presence of young talents free of charge at the Moscow Virtuosi concerts is a mandatory requirement of this orchestra.

Famous violinist Vladimir Spivakov gave an unusual task to scientists from Academgorodok – he asked them to do something about the lack of love in this world. This was the call he made at the Trans-Siberian Art Festival from the stage of the Philharmonic, where he played a duet with Vadim Repin.

«We have a wonderful relationship. We have met a lot, we treat each other very well, with great respect and love. I want to say that one of the main qualities that I have had in Vadim from the very beginning is the nobility of the game. Now it is a great rarity, because everyone aspires to effects, God knows what, distort music», said People’s Artist of the USSR Vladimir Spivakov.
