Today Vladimir Spivakov will perform in Krasnoyarsk
Today the concert programme of the Trans-Siberian Art Festival begins in Krasnoyarsk. The programme will be opened by the State Chamber Orchestra «Moscow Virtuosi» under the direction of artistic director and chief conductor, People’s Artist of the USSR Vladimir Spivakov. The concerts will take place on the stage of the BKZ Philharmonic Hall on 24 and 25 March.
«Moscow Virtuosi» has long won recognition throughout the world – the group’s concerts are an incredible success and are held in the most prestigious concert halls on the planet. The Philharmonic Society is celebrated: «The team’s visit to Krasnoyarsk is a huge success, as their tour schedule is several years in advance».
It should be noted that tickets for the orchestra’s performances were purchased a few weeks ago. However, the Philharmonic’s ticket office said that there are still a small number of tickets for both concerts on sale today, and if they do end, everyone will be able to buy entrance tickets (without specifying a seat).
On 24 March, the ensemble will perform Schnittke’s Old Style Suite, Haydn’s Symphony No 85 «Queen», music by Legar, Puccini from operas and operettas and works by Grieg, Mozart, Delibe and Piazzolla.
On 25 March Vladimir Spivakov will appear before the audience as a conductor and violinist. The orchestra will perform a Concerto for two Bach violins (soloists Vladimir Spivakov and Alexei Lundin), as well as music by Mozart, Piazzolla and Shostakovich.
The festival is held in Krasnoyarsk from 21 March to 7 April, bringing together world-renowned musicians on stage. Details of the festival programme and tickets can be found on the Krasnoyarsk Philharmonic website.
