The only concert of the famous American violinist Joshua Bell accompanied by the State Chamber Orchestra «Moscow Virtuosi» will be held in the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory on December 18 at 19:00. This evening the Grammy and Avery Fischer Prize winner will be not only a soloist but also a conductor. The programme includes works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Felix Mendelssohn. Joshua Bell is one of the most famous and titled violinists in the world, and his career spans over 30 years. Bell performs as a soloist, chamber musician and conductor. In 2011, he was appointed Music Director of the St. Martin’s Academy Orchestra in the Fields, replacing the orchestra’s founder himself.

Bell has recorded over 40 discs that have received honorary awards such as Grammy, Mercury, Gramophone and ECHO Klassik.
