Spivakov in Krasnoyarsk: mutual happiness
The Vladimir Spivakov Festival organized by the Regional Philharmonic Society with the support of the All-Russian Philharmonic Seasons project and RUSAL Company with the participation of its legendary Moscow Virtuosi Orchestra ended on 15 February in Krasnoyarsk.
The tired but happy maestro shared his impressions of the four days spent in Krasnoyarsk.
«I really wanted to come here because we were friends with Dmitry Khvorostovsky. He always spoke with warmth about his hometown, friends and teachers. After he was gone, I thought it was my duty to come to Krasnoyarsk. The first concert was composed of works by Dmitry Khvorostovsky. I am very happy that the audience is so sensitive to his memory and so wonderfully accepted the performance. I would say it’s mutual happiness when you come to a city like this – you seem to feel tired, but at the same time happy», the Philharmonic Press Service quotes the legendary violinist and conductor.
