Two days ago, Vladimir Spivakov’s Moscow Virtuosi performed at the closing of the festival in Cremona, home of the Stradivarius. And so the famous ensemble, led by the maestro, had the opportunity to see and hear the people of Gubkin. Vladimir Spivakov expressed his gratitude to the organisers of his tour, noting that he highly appreciated «the opportunity to perform in such small towns, where there is a huge production facility and wonderful people work».

This time the maestro was not only engaged in conducting, but also played the Stradivarius violin. Evgenia Asanova, who performed arias from Bizet’s operas Carmen and Saint-Saëns’ Samson and Dalila, also took part in the orchestra’s performance. Haydn’s Symphony No. 45, also known as «Farewell», ended with a performance by Moscow Virtuosi.
