Repin and Spivakov virtuosos played Bach in Novosibirsk
On 26 March, the famous Moscow Virtuosi Orchestra performed as part of the Trans-Siberian Art Festival held in Novosibirsk. Vadim Repin and Vladimir Spivakov played Bach during the event.
The legendary works of Kancheli and Piazzolla, Shostakovich Chamber Symphony and other masterpieces of flour art were performed at the A. Kats State Concert Hall in Novosibirsk. But the real highlight was the Bach Concerto for Two Violins, performed by Vladimir Spivakov and Vadim Repin. There was so many spectators in the hall that the organisers even had to place additional chairs on the sides of the stage. After the concert, which received well-deserved applause, the artists talked to journalists a little. In particular, Maestro Spivakov spoke about his longstanding friendship with Repin, considering this to be the main factor in his excellent interaction with his colleague on stage. This art festival will run until 3 April and is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Novosibirsk Region.
