The «Moscow Virtuosi» present a new project, «Bach. Vivaldi. The Path to Light». This performance by one of the world’s finest orchestras will feature masterpieces by both composers—some well-known, others rarely performed. To give the audience the opportunity to be alone with the music and truly feel its radiant light, the artists will play almost entirely in darkness, which will be the concert’s defining feature. The program allows listeners to appreciate the mastery of each composer while also hearing how distinct they are from one another. A unique aspect of the program is that it is performed without a conductor: only true virtuosos can play this way, as harmonious execution in such a setting requires exceptional skill.
