    Concertmaster of the cello group, Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation

    Vyacheslav Marinyuk was born in Moscow. He studied at the Gnesins Music School (class of S. M. Burova) and the 3rd Moscow Regional Music College in Elektrostal (class of E. L. Artemyeva). In 1996, he graduated with honors from the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, then continued his training in assistant-internship programs (class of D. G. Miller, class of chamber ensemble A. Z. Banduryansky, quartet class of N. N. Zabavnikov). Among his mentors were Professors Maria Chaikovskaya, Dmitry Miller, Alexander Bonduryansky, Tatiana Gaidamovich, Nikolai Zabavnikov, and Valentin Berlinsky.

    From 1995 to 1999, he was a soloist for Mosconcert.

    From 1996 to 1997, he was an artist with the «Eleonora Quartet».

    Since 1998, he has been an artist with the «Mozart Quartet».

    Since 1999, he has been an artist with the State Chamber Orchestra «Moscow Virtuosi». Since 2000, he has been the principal cellist.

    His stage partners include Vladimir Spivakov, Eliso Virsaladze, Mischa Maisky, Elisabeth Leonskaja, Alexander Ghindin, Andrei Diev, Thomas Leander, Alexei Goribol, Mikhail Lidsky, Sergei Nakariakov, Yuri Milkis, the Borodin Quartet, and others.

    1992 — First Prize and Grand Prix at the International Chamber Ensemble Competition in Tarton (Italy) in a duet with pianist Ekaterina Messner
    2001 — First Prize at the 6th International Dmitri Shostakovich String Quartet Competition as part of the «Mozart Quartet»
    2010 – Honorary title «‎Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation»
