On September 12, 2018 the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall will host a concert dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the People’s Artist of Russia Grigory Kovalevsky. The programme «‎A novel with a double bass» will feature the State Chamber Orchestra «‎Moscow Virtuosi», conducted by Fabio Mastrangelo, Anna Aglatova, Valentin Gaft, Vladimir Vinokur, Vasily Ladyuk, Igor Butman, Daniel Kramer, Kopelman Quartet, Lucas Genius.

At the anniversary party, dedicated to one of the best double bassists in the world, soloist and director of the orchestra «‎Moscow Virtuosi», documentary footage of Grigory Kovalevsky will be shown, favorite works from his repertoire, memories of friends and associates of the artist will be performed. The concert will be moderated by Yulian Makarov.
