We begin the review of subscriptions for the State Chamber Orchestra «Moscow Virtuosi» in the concert season 2013-2014.
In the next season, Moscow Virtuosi will increase the number of season tickets at its main sites.
For example, the orchestra’s residence, the Moscow International House of Music, will present two season tickets. One of them will be held in the Svetlanovsky Hall. In two concerts of the first series «Moscow Virtuosi» will meet with their friends – Pierre Amoial (violin) and Christian Zacharias (piano).
On 01 October 2013, Moscow viewers will witness the unification of two orchestras – Vladimir Spivakov and the Moscow Virtuosi will perform not only with Pierre Amoial as a soloist, but also with his unique ensemble Camerata de Lausanne. Such a concert was a resounding success in May 2013 in Lausanne, and now our friends will come to Moscow on a return visit.
10 December 2013. Christian Zacharias and «Moscow Virtuosi» will play works by Haydn and Mozart. A real gift for music lovers will be a performance of the Mozart Sonata for Violin and Piano by Christian Zacharias and Vladimir Spivakov.
During his last meeting with the orchestra, Christian Zacharias gave us an extensive interview. His audio recording and translation are available on the orchestra’s social media pages: http://vk.com/audios96845875 , https://www.facebook.com/
The second season ticket series will be marked by new creative alliances. 21 January 2014 «Moscow Virtuosi» will be performing for the first time with the legendary Estonian violinist and conductor Andres Mustonen – the evening will be dedicated to the music of Johann Sebastian Bach. On 03 April 2014, the orchestra, together with the outstanding British organist Thomas Trotter, will be performing Handel and Poulenc concerts.
A continuation should be made.
