  • «Moscow Virtuosi» invites students of music departments of the capital’s creative universities to a concert.

    14 January 2013

«The Great Artist, Teacher and Friend is dedicated…»

The concert with this title will take place on 18 January 2013 in the Chamber Hall of the Moscow International House of Music. The programme is dedicated to the memory of an outstanding musician and teacher, one of the founders of the Borodin Quartet – Valentin Alexandrovich Berlinsky. His performing and pedagogical heritage is inexhaustible as the music itself, and his participation in the creative fate of the Moscow Virtuosi Orchestra is invaluable.

The concert will feature works by A. Arensky, D. Shostakovich, G. Rossini and M. Glinka. They will be performed by soloists of the State Chamber Orchestra «Moscow Virtuosi», piano duo Lyudmila Berlinskaya and Artur Ansel (France) and «Valentin Berlin Quartet» (Switzerland).

The concert promises to be a bright and memorable event in the musical life of the capital city. The entrance is free for students of music departments of the capital’s creative universities (upon presentation of a student ticket).
