Anna Aglatova, an opera gala concert with the famous Moscow Virtuosi and soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia, will present on 3 March a fascinating programme of the VI International Festival «Vladimir Spivakov invites…». It will be held during the week under the sign of two anniversaries at once: 75th anniversary of the renowned maestro and 40th anniversary of the Moscow Virtuosi Orchestra.

Traditionally, every two years, music critics remind us of it, the maestro invites everyone to get closer to classical art, and the Belarusian public is looking forward to another celebration of symphonism. He invariably delights his admirers with his brilliant music.
orchestral concerts and performances by world stars of opera and ballet.

For audiophiles and fans of vocal art, the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus presents its stage today. Vladimir Spivakov, Artistic Director of the festival and President of the Moscow International House of Music and International Charity Foundation, has not for a long time made a secret of coming to Sineokaya as if to his home. «I love Minsk, I love its audience. I miss her, and I never give up on concerts. The only thing is that there are several other cities where I would like to perform – Vitebsk, for example», Spivakov said. However, this time the Moscow Virtuosi are invited to perform on 4 and 5 March in Gomel and Mogilev.

By the way, BELTA specifies, on Wednesday on the stage of the Philharmonic there will be a performance-concert «Eugene Onegin». Famous Russian actor Dmitry Dyuzhev will be reading Pushkin’s masterpiece, and the highlight of the mono-performance, according to the organizers of the concert, will be added by the music of Sergei Prokofiev performed by the Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus under the baton of maestro Arkady Berin.

Next Saturday another gala concert will take place at the Bolshoi Theatre of the Republic of Bashkortostan: «Stars of World Ballet. From classical to modern». The best ballet dancers of the leading theatres of Europe will perform on stage. The programme will include both world masterpieces «Sleeping Beauty», «Don Quixote», «Swan Lake» and original productions created by modern choreographers.

The festival will conclude on 9 March with a concert of the chamber orchestra «Kremerata Baltica» created by another violin virtuoso Gidon Kremer on the stage of the Belarusian State Philharmonic. The French pianist, winner of the XV Tchaikovsky Luke Debarg competition, also takes part in the concert. This is his second performance in Minsk.
