    Vladimir Spivakov and the Moscow Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra

    Vladimir Spivakov and Moscow Virtuosi will bring the programme «From Haydn to Piazzolla». The programme «Ancient Style Suite» by Alfred Schnittke will be opened – an exquisite baroque stylization. The concert will continue with Joseph Haydn’s Queen Symphony, full of joy of life and humour. In the second section, Ksenia Nesterenko (soprano), finalist of the Big Opera 2016 project on the Kultura TV channel, will be pleased with her art. The «Moscow Virtuosi» will be accompanied «The Wounded Heart» and «The Last Spring»), Giacomo Puccini. (Laurette’s aria from Gianni Skikki and Musetta’s waltz from La Boheme), Leo Deliba (‘Spanish Song’). The concert will conclude with music by Astor Piazzolla. His suite «History of the Tango» for violin and orchestra presents styles from different times. The names of the four parts of the suite also speak for themselves. «1900 – Brothel», «1930 – Cafe», «1960 – Nightclub», «Meditango». Soloists will be violinists of the chamber orchestra «Moscow Virtuosi» Vitaly Khandras, Alexey Lundin, Evgeny Shulkov and Alexey Strelnikov.
