  • The new hall of the House of Music will open for Muscovites for the first time on 9 March

    The first public concert in the new hall of the Moscow International House of Music will take place on March 9, 2020. The stage will feature works by Mozart, Boccherini, Rossini and Donizetti performed by Vladimir Spivakov, Anna Aglatova and the State Chamber Orchestra «Moscow Virtuosi».

    – Stunning technical innovations are available in this hall. Besides, it is very beautiful. It is really a multifunctional modern space, which we tried to fill with life, – said Spivakov.

    Many musicians were also lucky to appreciate the unique acoustics and transformable stage space in the new hall. Among them: Anna Netrebko, Hibla Gerzmava, Joshua Bell and many others.

    The foyer will surprise the audience no less. The works of famous artists and sculptors of our time are presented there. For example, canvases by Evgeny Rastorguev, whose paintings are presented in several museums of the world. You will also be able to see the works of Yury Vasilyev, Alexander Stotsky, Sergey Sergeyev and a number of other creators.

    The presentation of the new multifunctional hall of the House of Music took place in April 2019 with the participation of Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin. It is designed for 286 spectators. The new hall is not only a modern rehearsal space, but also a professional recording studio, as well as a unique art space for concerts broadcast on the radio and in the Internet.
