    Artistic Director of the festival «Vladimir Spivakov invites…», the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia, the State Chamber Orchestra «Moscow Virtuosi», conductor, president of the Moscow International House of Music and International Charity Foundation Vladimir Spivakov admitted to journalists that he is coming to Belarus as if to his home, reports BELTA correspondent.

    «I love Belarus, I love the Belarusian public. I come here as if I were home, I feel fine here. It is a long history – I have been performing here for many years and I always leave with the feeling of meeting my dear friends. I miss you and I never give up on concerts in Belarus. The only thing is that there are several cities in which I really wanted to play – Vitebsk, for example. It has not happened yet», said Vladimir Spivakov. – «It is wonderful that there are traditions and this festival.»

    The maestro noted that he still has excitement before going on stage. «There is always trepidation, but I pull up right away. The big orchestra is in front of you – it is important to show that you are not worried. It’s important to calm everyone down with a look», he said.

    Traditionally, every two years Vladimir Spivakov invites everyone to get closer to classical art. The Belarusian public is looking forward to every new festival, and emotions from previous concerts do not fade away and remain in memory for a long time. Since 2010, the conductor has invariably delighted his fans with brilliant orchestral concerts and performances by world stars of opera and ballet. The VI International Festival will be held under the sign of anniversary: 75th anniversary of the maestro and 40th anniversary of the orchestra «Moscow Virtuosi».

    VI International Festival «Vladimir Spivakov invites…» will be held in Belarus on March 3-9. The opening will take place on 3 March on the Bolshoi Theatre stage. The State Chamber Orchestra «Moscow Virtuosi» and soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia Anna Aglatova will take part in the opera gala concert. The festival will conclude on 9 March with a concert of the chamber orchestra «Kremerata Baltica» created by the famous Gidon Kremer on the stage of the Belarusian State Philharmonic. The concert will be attended by guest soloist Luka Debarg (piano).
