The evening’s programme included works in various styles and genres, including works by Bach, Mozart and Glinka, Russian folk songs, Soviet hats and compositions by Astor Piazzolla.

The «Three Bass Profundo» project, which has no analogues in world practice, will see Vladimir Miller, Mikhail Kruglov and Sergey Kryzhnenko perform for the first time at the Moscow International House of Music (MMDM), accompanied by the State Chamber Orchestra «Moscow Virtuosi». Vladimir Spivakov will stand behind the conductor’s desk. This was reported by the press service of the Moscow International Music House (MMDM).

The programme of the evening at the Svetlanovsky Hall included works in a variety of styles and genres: from works by Bach, Mozart and Glinka to Russian folk songs, Soviet hits and compositions by Astor Piazzolla. The selected melodies will «show the unique, almost organ sound of this unique ensemble».

«The incredibly deep and three-dimensional voices of these singers sound like double basses or big bells, they have access to extremely low notes that fascinate the audience and have a truly magical effect on them», the House of Music said.

The Three Bass Profundo project was launched in St Petersburg in 2009. In Italian, «profundo» means «deep». The project brings together performers, each of whom has received international recognition, performing on the opera stage and participating in major concert and solo projects.
