  • VI International Festival «Vladimir Spivakov invites…» will be held in Belarus on March 3 – 9

    The VI International Festival «Vladimir Spivakov invites» will open on 3 March at the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus. The State Chamber Orchestra «Moscow Virtuosi» and soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia Anna Aglatova will take part in the opera Gala Concert.

    On 4 March the stage of the Belgosphilharmonic will host an unusual performance-concert «Eugene Onegin». The great work of Pushkin will be read by the famous Russian actor Dmitry Dyuzhev. Prokofiev’s music will also be performed by the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Belarus conducted by Arkady Berin.

    By tradition, the festival is also attended by the regions. On 4 and 5 March in Gomel and Mogilev the orchestra «Moscow Virtuosi» with Vladimir Spivakov will perform.

    On 6 March, the festival «Vladimir Spivakov invites» will host gifted children who will give a concert at the Belarusian State Academy of Music.

    On 7 March, the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus will host the Gala Concert «Stars of the World Ballet. From Classics to Art Nouveau» will take place on 7 March on the stage of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus. The best ballet dancers from leading European theatres will perform on stage. The programme will include both world masterpieces «Sleeping Beauty», «Don Quixote», «Swan Lake» and original productions created by modern choreographers. The dancers will demonstrate the unique capabilities of their bodies and perfected mastery of choreography.

    On 9 March, the Belgos Philharmonic will conclude the festival with a concert by the Kremerata Baltica chamber orchestra, created by the famous Gedon Kremer. Guest soloist Luka Debarg (piano) will also take part in the concert.
