On Saturday, the State Chamber Orchestra “Moscow Virtuosi” under the baton of Vladimir Spivakov gave a concert at the DCI. The hall, filled to capacity, was bursting with thunder of applause every now and then.

The performance of the virtuosos began with Vivaldi’s Violin Concerto in E Minor, where Vladimir Spivakov performed as a soloist. The stunning technique and soulfulness of the performance, as well as the magnificent music, delighted the audience. The hall was ruled by Her Majesty’s Ball Real music, which, as you could see, was very much missed by the citizens. In the second part of the concert, a serenade for the Tchaikovsky String Orchestra was played, and the concert ended with an incendiary Hungarian Brahms dance.

The Chamber Orchestra “Moscow Virtuosi” was created in 1979 by the outstanding virtuoso violinist Vladimir Spivakov and a group of his creative associates – winners of international competitions and concertmasters of the best symphony and chamber orchestras in Moscow. Since its creation, the ensemble has been given the highest performing level. One of its most important tasks “Moscow Virtuosi” has always considered the task of emotionally exciting and intellectually enticing anyone, even unprepared listeners, to bring them the joy of communication with musical masterpieces. And this is what Spivakov’s virtuosos do perfectly. His orchestra is called an orchestra of inexhaustible possibilities and a hundred percent emotional return. Virtuoso concerts all over the world collect full houses, and the audience always expects a small miracle from the Maestro and his orchestra. And the orchestra has never once fooled these expectations.

When the concert ended, the Daugavpils standing for a long time applauded “Virtuosos”. It was their thanks for the holiday for the soul, which, alas, is not that common.
