  • Vladimir Spivakov visiting Andrei Sinitsyn

    on 15 April, 2012

Andrei Sinitsyn’s «Important Talk» programme included a visit by Vladimir Spivakov, a world-renowned conductor, a brilliant violinist, People’s Artist of the USSR, artistic director of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia, artistic director of the Moscow Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra, and director of the International House of Music. A person who has visited his concert at least once, falls in love with His Majesty Music forever and selflessly. In the evening of 11 October 2010, the Great Concert Hall of the Odessa Regional Philharmonic Hall hosted with incredible success a concert of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia under the baton of Vladimir Spivakov, one of the greatest conductors of our time. The day before the concert, in Kiev, the maestro made an important decision and changed the programme of the Odessa concert, why did he do this? Tired but very satisfied with the concert, Vladimir Spivakov promised that he would be back soon; when will this happen and what surprise did he prepare for the Odessa audiences? Over the years, the Vladimir Spivakov Charity Fund has helped a huge number of talented children to find themselves in creativity; how does the maestro feel about giving a tour to young musicians, dancers, vocalists and artists? The guest of the show has more than a busy schedule, does he manage to see his family at least from time to time? Is he happy? What does he believe in and who does he believe in? This conversation is dedicated to answering these questions.
