Evgeny Stembolsky
First deputy concertmaster of the orchestra, concertmaster of the first violins
Evgeny Stembolsky was born in Baku. In 1997 he graduated with honours from the Central School of Music of the Moscow Conservatory (class of teacher Z. I. Makhtina). In 2002 he graduated from the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory, class of Professor S.I. Kravchenko. Already during his years of study, he began active solo concert activity in Russia, Western Europe, Asia, North and South America.
Since 2002, he has been an artist with the State Chamber Orchestra «Moscow Virtuosi». In addition to performing in the orchestra, he performs a lot of chamber music in various ensembles. His stage partners were such famous musicians as V. Spivakov, N. Gutman, E. Brunner, J. Guillou, K. Blacher, E. Moshetina, B. Andrianov, S. Antonov, I. Fedorov and others.

Laureate of music competitions in Austria (Brahms competition), Italy (Lipitzer competition), Poland (Tansman competition).
2002 – Laureate of the XII International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow
2013 – Certificate of Honour of the Moscow City Department of Culture
2019 – Gratitude of the Head of the Moscow Department of Culture
