Sergey Korobov
Sergei Korobov was born in Chelyabinsk. In 1988, he began to study music at the special music school at the Lomonosov Music College in Chelyabinsk. He began his studies at a special music school at the Tchaikovsky Music College. In 1998, he graduated with honours from the special music school and entered the 1st year of the Chelyabinsk Higher Music School named after P.I.Tchaikovsky. Graduated from the Chelyabinsk Higher School of Music (Chelyabinsk).
In 1999, he was hired by the Chelyabinsk State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet. In 2001, he moved from the 3rd year of the ChNMU to the 4th year of the District College of Arts and Culture in Khanty-Mansiysk. In 2002, he graduated from the District College of Arts and Culture in Khanty-Mansiysk and entered the RAM (Russian Academy of Music). In 2002 he graduated from the District College of Arts and Culture in Khanty-Mansiysk and entered the Gnesins Russian Academy of Music.
During his studies at the Academy he became a laureate of the All-Russian competition. He has worked in such orchestras as the Russian Philharmonic Orchestra of Moscow, the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra under the baton of P.Kogan, the Chamber Musical Opera Theatre named after Gnesins. The Chamber Musical Theatre of Opera named after B.A. Pokrovsky.
In 2007, he graduated with honours from the Gnessin Russian Academy of Sciences.
From 2008 to 2017 he worked as a soloist with the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Moscow State Academic Philharmonic Society.
Since 2017, he has been working with the State Chamber Orchestra «Moscow Virtuosi»
