    Concertmaster of the French horn group, Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation

     

    Stanislav Davydov was born in Naro-Fominsk, Moscow Region. Graduated from the Central School of Music of the Moscow Conservatory, the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory (class of Professor A.S. Demin).

    At various times he was a soloist with the Russian State Astrological Society under the baton of V.I. Tchaikovsky. At different times he was a soloist of the Russian State Astronomical Society under the direction of V. Polyansky, the Svetlanov State Astronomical Society of Russia, the State Astronomical Society of Russia. From 2003 to 2017, he was a soloist of the Russian State Aggregate Committee of the Russian Academy of Sciences. – Soloist with the Helikon Opera Theatre Orchestra, since 2009 – Soloist with the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Musical Theatre Orchestra, since 2017. – He is an artist with the State Chamber Orchestra «‎Moscow Virtuosi». Since 2004, he has been a soloist and concertmaster of the French horn group of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia.

    He has repeatedly performed as a soloist with leading Russian orchestras. He is a regular participant of the festivals «‎Tarusa Winter» (festival of the Svyatoslav Richter Foundation), «‎Moscow Autumn», «‎Vladimir Spivakov Invites…», «‎Art-November», «‎Return», International Music Festival in Colmar, France. He was a member of various Moscow ensembles, including the T. Dokshitzer Brass Quintet, which recorded three CDs and gave over 300 concerts in Russia and abroad.

    He was awarded the Silver Medal «‎For Faith and Good» by the Governor of the Kemerovo Region A. Tuleyev (2006).

    Honoured Artist of Russia.
